This last Friday Sam and I went to Salt Lake for the day to get a break before finals, see the lights, Christmas shop and enjoy Temple square.
My favorite part was when we went to the Christus. On the way up the stairs we were met with what you see below. It was very striking and the spirit was strong.

Outside the Conference Center. We couldn't go in because there was a huge Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert. Luckily, though, that meant plenty of nice people take a picture with the spire in it . :)
The Salt Lake Temple looked extra stunning--there was light reflecting from nearby buildings. It made the temple glow.
